Laser Dentistry
In addition to the conventional dentistry, we have been using the latest laser technology in our dental treatment procedures. We utilize FDA-approved hard-tissue and soft-tissue lasers (Diode, Nd:Yag, Er:Yag, and Er:Ysgg) in our practice. The laser technologies which we use for our patients are safe and more compatible with the natural healthy state of the human body than the conventional treatment methods. They have replaced dental drills, needles, anesthetics, scalpels and sutures for many common dental restorative (fillings), periodontal (gum), endodontic (root canal), and minor oral surgical procedures. The success rates of these laser-assisted treatment procedures are much higher than the conventional ones because the laser energy can travel deeper into the infected tissues and reach bacteria where the conventional disinfecting chemicals cannot. Our patients have reported of much less discomfort experience from the laser-assisted treatment procedures compared to the conventional treatment procedures. We also have observed of faster and better healing results from the laser-assisted treatment procedures.
